Terrence Ingram Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

APPLE RIVER, IL) Marquis Who’s Who, the world’s premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Terrence Ingram with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Ingram celebrates many years experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Supported by more than 55 years of professional excellence, Mr. Ingram serves as both an insurance agent and a researcher of bald eagles. He was deferred from military service in order to conduct his studies, which was an honor given only to him. Since he was young, he has been environmentally driven and has saved more than 2,000 acres in Wisconsin and 300 acres in Illinois for bald eagle habitats over the years. While in high school, he also learned beekeeping and taught the skills in his 50+ years of beginning beekeeping classes. At the start of his career, he served as an instructor of physics and mathematics for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. In later years he taught high school science and math in both Wisconsin and Illinois.

An insurance agent for 48 years and crop adjuster for 12 years, Mr. Ingram holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, in addition to graduating from the Graham School of Breeding for Cattlemen and Women. After 27 years he retired from New York Life as a Senior Nylic. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he maintains affiliation with the Inland Bird Banding Association, where he has served as editor and president, the Illinois Guernsey Association, and the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters. Likewise, he was the founder of the Eagle Valley Environmentalists, The Eagle Foundation and the Eagle Nature Foundation. Utilizing his extensive industry knowledge, he has edited both the Bald Eagle News and the Small Beekeepers Journal for over 25 years and also authored a coffee-table book called “Eagle” and the photographic book “The Plight of the Bald Eagle”.

Due to his range of skills in numerous industries Mr. Ingram has been awarded many times over the years, earning the Protector of the Environment Award through the Chicago Audubon Society, the Honor Roll Award through the Izaak Walton League of America, the prestigious Sol Feinstone Award through Syracuse University and the 50 Year Preservation of the Bald Eagle Award from the Eagle Nature Foundation. Additionally he has been featured in three editions of Who’s Who in the Midwest. In the coming years, Mr. Ingram intends to continue working in the field of bald eagle conservation.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who’s Who community, Terrence Ingram has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.Itachievers.com for more information about this honor.
