Fall Bird Seed Sale
Apple River, IL) Once again the Eagle Nature Foundation will be holding a Fall Bird Seed Sale. This year the pickup date will be on Nov. 3rd. Please contact the Eagle Nature Foundation for bird seed varieties and prices.
The seeds have to be ordered and paid for in advance of Oct. 29. Then on Nov. 3rd, anyone who ordered bird seed must come to 8384 North Broadway Road, just 1/2 mile south of Apple River between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00 pm to pick up whatever seeds they ordered. If this date is not possible, a later date can be arranged.
As this sale is a fundraiser for ENF, anyone who orders seed can consider 30% of what they pay to be a tax deductible donation to ENF. Anyone and everyone is invited to get their winter’s supply of bird seed during this sale.
Also available on the porch at 300 East Hickory Street are some of Richard Briggs’ homemade bird houses and bird feeders.
