Stroll Apple Creek Date Change
Apple River) Terrence Ingram, President of the Eagle Nature Foundation (ENF), has just announced that ENF is changing the date for the 2017 Stroll Apple Creek from Sept. 23 to Sept. 30th. Everything else will remain the same with two auctions after lunch and the drawing for a 50/50 raffle.
This change has been made because of the extreme heat that is forecast for the 23rd. Mr. Ingram is not sure that he could survive four hours of leading tours in 90+ temperatures and knows that it would not be comfortable for anyone else either.
If anyone would like to join Mr. Ingram for either the 10:00 am Prairie Tour, or the 2:00 Woods Tour, during cooler temperatures on the 30th, please call 815-594-2306 ASAP. The cost for either tour is $10, or with a meal the cost is $25 and if a person takes both tours and the meal the cost is $35. We need to know who will be coming in advance, so arrangements can be made for the noon meals needed.
