All Remaining ENF Plants Half Price
Apple River, IL The Eagle Nature Foundation (ENF) has just announced that all of the plants remaining at their office, 300 East Hickory Street, Apple River, IL will be at half price for the rest of the season. At this time there are close to 400 plants of over 70 varieties from which people can chose. But some are being picked up every day, so if a person is interested, it is recommended that they should come as soon as possible to get the best choice.
There are no hours. During daylight hours a person can come in, look over the plants, pick out the plants he or she wants, and place the money for just half the marked price in the money box on the front porch. Come during office hours and get a receipt for your donation.
These beautiful plants come from Beaver Creek Nursery and Song Sparrow Nursery, two of the nurseries, which are owned by Roy and Sarah Klehm, Barrington, IL. This generous couple donates many unique and rare varieties of plants to ENF to help the organization raise the needed funds for ENF to keep their doors open during the summer, and continue to sponsor such things as International Bald Eagle Days (IBED) in Kansas City on Oct. 10-12, 2014. A person will find some varieties here, that they cannot find in local nurseries.
Normally there is a new load of plants which is gotten in early fall. This year IBED is taking up so much time that there is no time to get a new load of plants, so ENF is passing the savings on to everyone interested in beautifying their home and yard. In the past many of these plants have been gotten by people who give tours of their yards in the summer time.
Beautify your own home or office yard with a unique plant from ENF.
