New Plants Available

Apple River, IL) The Eagle Nature Foundation (ENF) has just received its Fall shipment of plants for people to choose from to help beautify their homes. This is the last shipment of plants which ENF will receive for 2018. Many of them are presently blooming. They can be seen at 300 East Hickory St., (right on Stagecoach Trail) in Apple River.

This shipment includes many varieties of plants that ENF has never received before. They include several varieties of plants, which have recently been developed by Roy Klehm, who donates these plants to help provide ENF with needed funds to carry out its efforts to save the Bald Eagle. Some of these varieties cannot be found anywhere else.

The recommended donation for each variety of plants is marked on a sign by each variety. All plants are on a self-serve basis, so the plants are available for your perusal during daylight hours. Please place the money for any plants you choose in the money box on the porch. These plants include include multiple varieties of asters, day lilies, hostas, pines, spruce, arbor vitae, rose, hydrangea, viburnum, weigela, physocarpus, potentilla, sedum, magnolia, lilac, spirea, dogwood, barberry, forsythia, ilex, peony, taxus, wisteria and many many others.

Come in and check them out. There are many plants in our yard which would good in your front or back yards and beautify your home in the process. There are only a few plants of each variety, so if you are interested in a certain variety be sure to stop in soon, before that variety is all gone.
