Limited Trip Seats Available

Apple River) Terrence Ingram, President of the Eagle Nature Foundation (ENF), has just announced that there are limited seats still available for the ENF 4-hour Feb. 11 and Feb. 25 Bald Eagle Bus Tours, as well as for the ENF March 13-16 Wildlife/Historical Bus Tour to Nebraska. The Bald Eagle Bus Tours leave each day at 8:00 am sharp from the Best Western Motel on the East side of Galena and return to the motel about 12:30. The Wildlife/Historical Bus Tour leaves at 8:00 am sharp on March 13 from the Ramada on the West side of Galena and returns about 6:00 pm on March 16.

More details about the cost and other information about these tours may be obtained by calling 815-594-2306 and requesting a brochure, or by going to ENF's website, eaglenature.com. and looking at the events. The website allows people to register for the tours while they are there, using PayPal to pay for them. Several motels in Galena are offering discounted rates for anyone participating in these tours.

Mr. Ingram urges people to join him for these tours as these tours may be the last tours that he is able to conduct. He has been leading Bald Eagle Bus Tours for over 50 years and health issues are starting to put a crimp on his activities.

Mr. Ingram states that, "Each year we are seeing fewer and fewer eagles wintering along the Mississippi River and I urge people to see them while there are still some bald eagles left to see".
