Apple River, IL) The Eagle Nature Foundation (ENF) has received a donation of over 700 eagle items from one of its members to help raise needed funds for studying the bald eagle. Many of the items are brand new and still in their original boxes. To raise these vital funds the board has decided to offer them to the general public in an auction.

The auction will be held in the Scales Mound Shipping Association, 230 South Avenue, Scales Mound, IL at 10:00 am Sunday, Nov. 12. This building is located just South of the railroad track in Scales Mound across the road from the Post Office building. These auction items may be previewed from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, Nov. 10th.

The auction will include: many, many eagle statues from 4-6 inches up to 2 feet tall; a chain saw carved eagle; wind chimes; Christmas ornaments; eagle clocks; prints, framed and unframed; eagle throws; cross stitch kits; t-shirts and sweatshirts; sew on patches; dream catchers; flags; Tuscany stone necklaces; eagle cloth material; bill folds; puzzles; jewelry; stuffed eagles; stained glass hangings; eagle magnets; coasters; mouse pads; coffee mugs; wooden boxes, and much, much more. There are just too many to list here. Watch for the sale ads with more items listed, or come to the preview on Oct. 10th. We will have pictures of many of these things on our Facebook page.

This will be an excellent chance for any person who is collecting eagle items to get some very nice items for his or her collection. It will also be an excellent opportunity for dealers to build up their eagle inventory. Some of the items are collectors items with names as Bradford, which will make very excellent Christmas gifts for anyone. Do your eagle Christmas shopping early!
