Apple River) Susan Cashman, Manager of the Bluebird Nest Nature Center in Darlington, WI will be the featured speaker at Eagle Nature Foundation’s (ENF) Annual Meeting and Fund Raising Luncheon to be held at 11:00 am on March 28, 2015, in the Apple River Methodist Church, Apple River, IL. Her power point presentation on “Good News: Restoring the Eastern Bluebird to Southwest Wisconsin/The Nature Center in Darlington” will follow the Annual Luncheon at 12:30 pm.

As part of ENF’s fund raising efforts, a silent auction will start at 11:00 am. At 11:30 the luncheon will be served by the Side Track Café of Apple River. At 1:00 pm, immediately following Cashman’s speech, there will be a regular fund raising auction and drawing for a 50/50 raffle. Some donations for these auctions have already been received from many persons and businesses in the area, but other donations are welcome for both auctions, from any person or business.

Anyone may enter the 50/50 raffle by sending a check to ENF. (The tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5 or 25 for $20, or 70 for $50). The regular auction and 50/50 drawing will be followed by ENF’s Annual Business Meeting and Award Ceremony at 1:30 PM. Immediately after the business meeting, ENF’s Board of Directors will hold their annual board meeting to elect officers for the coming year.

The general public is invited to attend this Luncheon and Meeting. Luncheon tickets are $25 per person. Luncheon tickets, must be purchased prior to March 21st from the Eagle Nature Foundation’s office at 300 East Hickory Street, Apple River, IL 61001, or by calling 815-594-2306.
