News Release IBED

Apple River, IL) The Eagle Nature Foundation (ENF) has just announced deadlines for registration for International Bald Eagle Days (IBED) which will be held at the Holiday Inn KCI Expo Center on Oct. 10-12, 2014. There is no advance registration needed for the Friday night panel on the “Future of the Missouri River”. This panel discussion is open to the public. Everyone is welcome! The entry fee at the door will be $10 for adults and $5 for children, 17 and under, if they are going to attend only this part of IBED. A person who pays the $25 registration fee for the whole IBED 3 day event does not pay anything extra as this fee has already been paid. This $25 pays for lunch and the breaks on Saturday. Anyone wishing to stay overnight at the Holiday Inn at the event’s reduced rates must make their reservations before Sept. 20 to get those rates. After that date, if a room is available, it will be at higher rates.

Anyone wishing to just come to the Saturday evening fund-raising banquet at 6:00 pm to hear the talk by George Fenwick, President of the American Bird Conservancy in Virginia, must make their reservations with the Eagle Nature Foundation before Oct. 4. The cost for the banquet is $50 per adult, and $35 for each child, 17 and under. The reservations may be made by sending a check to ENF, 300 East Hickory Street, Apple River, IL 61001 or going to ENF’s website, eaglenature.com and make the banquet and/or event reservations using PayPal.
